Finally, after more than 6 months, i'm back and writing... In February i had to quit doing this cuz' my folks were on my back all day due to a fu*ked up thing called a "Baccalaureate". Yup, it's the exam many of us Europeans have to take in order to be accepted into University or if we want to have a higher salary than the guy who sells flowers accross the street... Fortunately now I'm done with that and preparing for Uni in UK. :-D So, although it's a bit late, I wish you all a fun summer break (what's left of it) and good luck to those of you who still have exams to take!
A Day in the Life of a Minimalist
After reading "A Day in the Life of an Emo Kid", i googled up "a day in the life of a houser" out of curiosity and ran over this: :-D
09:00 - Se trezeşte. Intră pe hi5.
09:05 - Se duce la baie. Îşi dă ochelarii jos şi remarcă ochii injectaţi: cool.
09:06 - Poză. Pentru hi5.
09:10 - Îşi pune hanoracul cu carouri mov şi galbene, converşii şi şapca mov. Pleacă.
09:20 - Aşteapta autobuzul dând din cap pe beat-ul din căşti.
09:25 - Doi ţigani îi fură banii şi îl bat.
09:30 - Urcă în autobuz.
10:00 - Coboară la Romană.
10:05 - Poză în faţa gurii de metrou. Pentru hi5.
10:10 - Se întâlneşte cu baieţii minimalişti şi fetele minimaliste la Mec.
10:15 - Se aşează la o masă, afară, fiecare cu câte un suc, mai puţin el.
10:16 - Poză de grup. Pentru hi5.
10:16 - 11:00 - Povesteşte cum s-a bătut în staţie pentru o pizdă.
11:01 - 12:15 - Discută despre frezuri şi ce hanorace marfă au adus la Pull&Bear.
12:30 - Pleacă spre casă.
12:50 - Ajunge acasă. Urcă pozele pe hi5.
13:00 - 15:00 - Conferinţă pe messenger cu prietenii minimali. Hotărăsc în ce club se duc seara.
15:01 - 18:00 - hi5.
18:01 - 19:00 - Îşi îndreaptă părul cu placa.
19:01 - 20:00 - Se gândeşte ce hanorac să poarte: mov cu negru sau mov cu verde.
20:01 - Constată că i s-a strâmbat o şuviţă. Bagă placa în priză. O îndreapta la loc.
20:02 - Dă cu fixativ.
20:15 - Se întâlneşte la Universitate cu ceilalţi minimalişti. Se duc la Mec-ul din pasaj.
20:20 - 21:30 - Beau o cola. Fac poze.
21:45 - Fac poştă un Kent 4.
21:55 - Intră în farmacie. Cumpără o pastilă de tussin.
22:00 - Pleacă spre club.
22:30 - Ajung în faţa clubului. Fac poză. Paznicii nu-i lasă să intre.
22:35 - Pleacă spre alt club.
22:50 - Ajung. Paznicii îi lasă să intre.
22:55 - Ocupă o canapea. Comandă o cola.
22:56 - 23:40 - Sunt trişti pentru că nu bagă melodia lor preferată. Fac poştă un Kent 8. Sunt high.
23:41 - Termină cola. Sunt nevoiţi să se ridice.
23 45 - Suge fiecare pastila de tussin. Sunt high.
23:45 - îşi pun ochelarii. Se duc pe ring.
23:50 - 04:00 - Dansează. Încearcă un funky chick style.
04:01 - Muzică nasoală. Pleacă.
04:02 - Fac poştă un Kent 1. Nu mai sunt high.
04:10 - Nu au bani de taxi. Merg spre casă pe jos.
04:30 - La Unirea sunt opriţi de nişte manelişti.
04:40 - Le sunt furate telefoanele şi sunt bătuţi.
04:50 - Se desparte de ceilalţi şi pleacă spre casă.
05:30 - Ajunge acasă. Spune părinţilor că s-a bătut la club pentru o pizdă.
05:40 - E prea rupt ca să urce pozele pe hi5.
06:00 - Adoarme trist.
I must admit that it's not as good as the emo diary, but it does kinda reflect the reality... :))
"Our Childhood vs. Theirs"
Here's a video someone sent me today and really made me think about the huge differences between what childhood used to mean 10-15+ years ago and what it means today... Having everything, not caring about anything, staying in front of the computer all day and knowing more about sex than a gynecologist are pretty much the key words that describe most of today's children... Sad...

Top 10 Hotspot Cities
A recent survey carried out by JiWire has placed two American cities - San Francisco and New York - in the top 10 global cities with hotspots. San Francisco currently has 801 hotspots, while New York has only 643. It's also rumored that S.F.'s City Council is planning to cover the entire city with free internet by the end of this year. Surely, a move which would make any net-dependent person jealous... Mainly us Romanians who only found out what a hotspot is, a couple of years ago. However, believe it or not, after roaming the city with my phone one day in search of hotspots, i was stunned to run over tones of personal unsecured wireless networks. What does that mean? Well, it means that people buy wireless routers at home to be able to chat on their laptops while taking a shower or while cooking, but it never occurs to them that there could be other people (such as the extremely happy next-door neighbor :D) who could also be using it for free. I found 6 "home hotspots" on my 200m long street alone! Which means that i can pretty much connect to wireless internet for free anywhere on my street thanks to people like my neighbors. Just imagine what you could find on boulevards with blocks of flats... 8-)
