Here's a video someone sent me today and really made me think about the huge differences between what childhood used to mean 10-15+ years ago and what it means today... Having everything, not caring about anything, staying in front of the computer all day and knowing more about sex than a gynecologist are pretty much the key words that describe most of today's children... Sad...

i agree in all points covered except that children today only SEEM to know a lot about sex. if you read any magazine or any forum you'll see there are a lot of teenagers who actually don't know shit about it, asking questions such as "can i get pregnant if i masturbate? please answer quickly, i'm scared"...
i ran across your blog by accident and i must say i'm glad it happened because i like reading romanians' blogs about student life in other countries, as i am also thinking of applying in england. not sure yet though :)
anyway, do keep writing!
