Long live the iPhone... but fu*k Apple!

After more than a month of waiting, i finally managed to jailbreak and unlock the brand new iPhone Mihai (JumperMishu) brought me at the beginning of this winter. I must admit that it's a pretty nice piece of technology that has become widely popular allover the world in less than a year, however, as they say, everything good is either illegal, immoral or fatty... Obviously, till last month, the only place you could buy such a phone was the US. (Of course, in Romania too, but at double the price) That would not have been such a big deal as long as they sold the phones unlocked like they do with NOKIA's everywhere else... But NO! They had to lock them on AT&T and update the firmware once every month or two to make sure hackers would not hack the software... That's how i ended up in December with an iPhone i could not use. I had to wait till today to find a jailbreak & unlock method for the 1.1.2 - 04.02.13_G version. So for those who are still waiting to find that, here's everything you need to do:

1. To jailbreak the phone (be able to access its menu and use it as an iTouch) do the following:

*note that you must do this in order to get to the next step!
**you can find the files mentioned in the video on the description tab on YouTube

2. To unlock it (be able to use it on any carrier):

Since there is no AnySIM software available for this version yet, the best thing to do without risking to brick the phone, is to buy a thing called TurboSIM. It's like a SIM card that you place on your own card in order to fool the iPhone in believing that it's a valid AT&T SIM. It's not too expensive (~50e) and it's worth the money! To purchase one of these, contact Akaiu. He helped me out and it works perfectly.

*This is NOT going to work on any newly bought 1.1.3 with bootloader 4.6 version. You'll just have to wait a few weeks/months...
